What is BitcoinCounterFlow?
Bitcoin market intelligence built around derivatives positioning and forced liquidation. The platform tracks liquidation heatmaps, funding rates, open interest, long/short ratios, on-chain cycle metrics (MVRV, NUPL, SOPR, Puell Multiple), macro correlation (S&P 500, gold, DXY, M2), ETF flows and corporate treasuries, and publishes CounterFlow, the platform's own contrarian positioning signal.
Does BitcoinCounterFlow cover assets other than Bitcoin?
No. The catalog is Bitcoin-only, by design.
What tools does the platform include?
Seven tools cover the full workflow, from reading the market to testing a strategy against history.
Is there an indicator marketplace?
A marketplace to share and discover community-built indicators is in development and not live yet.
What is a liquidation heatmap and why does it matter?
It shows where leveraged long and short positions are clustered by price level, so a cascade of forced liquidations can be anticipated before it happens rather than read after the fact.
Why doesn't Position Signals use leverage?
Bitcoin's volatility means most leveraged traders eventually get liquidated out of the game, regardless of how good their read was. Unleveraged traders can still be wrong on individual trades, but they survive to trade again. Position Signals is built spot-only on purpose: the goal is staying in the game long enough for good positioning to compound.
Is BitcoinCounterFlow financial advice?
No. It surfaces positioning and on-chain data. Decisions, sizing, and entries/exits are the user's own.
Billing & plans
What payment methods do you accept?
All major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay), plus Bitcoin as a pre-paid option for 3-month and annual plans only.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Access remains active until the current billing period ends. Refunds are not issued.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, the annual plan includes a 30% discount.
What's the difference between Nakamoto PRO and Pro Desk?
Nakamoto PRO is the individual subscriber plan. Pro Desk is built for desks and small teams: 4 Nakamoto PRO seats with centralized billing and shared access.
Is BitcoinCounterFlow worth subscribing to?
If you actively trade Bitcoin and use liquidation zones, funding, open interest, and alerts, the platform is designed to pay for itself through better timing and decision quality. If you're a passive holder, the value is lower.
API, MCP & developers
How do I get programmatic access?
Generate an API key in account settings. The same key works for both the REST API and the MCP server.
Can I use BitcoinCounterFlow with an AI agent (Claude, Codex, etc.)?
Yes, via the hosted MCP server at https://api.bitcoincounterflow.com/api/mcp. Anonymous access works for quick testing (free-tier tools, capped daily requests per IP); pass your key in the X-API-Key header to unlock paid tiers.
What can an agent actually query through MCP?
Market snapshot, liquidation heatmaps/maps, funding, open interest, long/short ratios, on-chain metrics (MVRV, NUPL, SOPR, Puell Multiple), macro/cross-asset context, and a documentation/glossary search tool — the same catalog behind the REST API.
Where's the machine-readable API spec?
OpenAPI 3.1 schema at /openapi.json. For a plain-language index built for LLMs, see /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt.
Do REST API and MCP share the same rate limits and tiers?
Yes, one key, one tier, both surfaces. Tiers run Free, Developer, Builder, Business, Scale, Institutional, each with its own history depth and rate limit.
